Coaster Saloon: The Premier BBQ Sports Bar Experience in San Diego

Me and my wife came across this place when we were driving in San Diego with our box truck company. We had a late drop off and we would started and looking for something to eat because we we’re starving and we came across this place even though it was late they still served us with good customer service and the food was still good. we ended up getting a meat combo. I don’t remember which one or what kind but I know it came with brisket and ribs plus sides and everything was so good and seasoned and tender. And to add to it, it had great scenery as well. So if you’re ever in San Diego, please go check this place out….. I LOVE GOOD BBQ AND THEY HAVE IT!!

Good BBq I got the pork ribs which were really good Mac and cheese which was delicious French fries were a little too oversalted The brisket was delicious and tender the beans were delicious potato salad was very good Service was excellent

Alex is the best! Super kind dude and always attentive. You'll notice him from his super kind attitude. Not to mention the food is amazing, literally life changing you will never find a better brisket

We had a company we planned our corporate outing with, cancel on us at the last minute. With one day notice Coastal Saloon set us up with the most fantastic spread of food and drink. We ended up being a hour late due to traffic accident. They stayed late, to let us enjoy ourselves a little longer. They welcomed us in like family in the atmosphere was amazing. They went above and beyond, and the pricing was incredible. I would recommend to anybody doing a corporate function to reach out to this team. From the team at #clearwaterspas, thank you so much. We loved it there.

I didn't eat there but I had drinks and they were very good! Great atmosphere and fun friendly bartenders! I had to go back to this place because it was so much fun and this time I ate and the food was absolutely amazing I recommend it 100 out of 10!!!

First..the service was perfect. 10+ our group enjoyed this meal. We had three southerners in the party and they all said this was great bbq. Just see the pics and you decide. We did the meal for 6 plus a vegetarian meal. I had just chicken and street corn with a ceasers on the side. Everything was good. LMR8

Went after a field trip for brunch and had a great time! Staff were very nice and patient with us and didn’t judge the fact we were teenagers. All the drinks they offered were cool to see even if we just got a round of sodas, which were very tasty. Food came out super fast. Best part were the T.V’s, they had 3 different channels playing at the same time and I loved watching the Winter Olympics. Overall they were super sweet and accommodating, would love to go again!

I'm so glad we did this at the beginning of our stay because we went back for another try. Really enjoyed the BBQ. Brisket was flavorful and didn't need sauce. Ribs fell off the bone and the potato salad with bacon...yummy! All the food was great, the drinks were ok. Great decorations and outdoor seating. Burger is similar to a large smash burger, which i love. Brisket chili alone is a great helping/portion. It's definitely a great spot for lunch or dinner. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Had gluten-free options for friends, which was awesome.
